This is a unique pair of modern black steel and 14k gold slim hoop earrings. Blackened steel strips are formed into open hoops that are soldered to sterling silver ear wires. The steel has random splashes of gold fused to it. There is so much to love about steel - especially for earrings, as it's lighter than other metals. These have a modern, minimalist vibe with a nice bit of luxe thrown in.
I blackened the steel, then sealed it with wax. Black and gold are so elegant together and the gold on steel gives them a contemporary edge. These earrings go with everything and are so unique. They also make a great gift!
