This is a super-pretty, natural, deep pink sapphire in a rose-cut, hexagon shape. I created a unique statement ring with it in sterling silver. I had to keep the first one I made like this because it fit and I couldn't part with it! Try this one on, and you'll want to keep it on. I wear mine at all times. It would also be a perfect gift for your mom or someone special!
SETTING: I wrapped this beauty in a fine silver bezel on a sterling silver back plate and a very comfortable round sterling shank.
SIZE: The stone is about 11mm x 11mm (7/16" x 7/16) and the ring is size 8.
FINISH: I gave the silver a bit of a rustic finish, oxidizing it for a soft patina, then brushing it. The finish contrasts so nicely with the sparkly pink stone.
