This is a high domed, lovely round moss aquamarine cabochon. I've featured it in a minimalist, sterling silver ring with a simple, round sterling shank. It's wonderful and comfy to wear and would be perfect for everyday. The "moss" in moss aquamarine comes from iron trace elements that give the stone a moss-like appearance. They're often a greenish-blue with mossy features in a transparent gem body. This one is more of a smokey blue.
