Orange Carnelian Bullet Ring Sterling Size 6

A bullet-shaped orange carnelian set in fine silver and sterling on a half-round sterling band. It's a lovely deep orange and I love the shape and how it stands up on your hand. Carnelian is a form of chalcedony, a member of the quartz family.

SETTING: I set it in fine silver and sterling on a comfortable half-round sterling band.

SIZE: The stone is about 9mm across and stands about 10mm high. This ring is size 6.

FINISH: I gave the silver an oxidized patina, which really makes the orange stone pop.
