After the shows, the fun continues...

It was a great summer art show season and such a pleasure meeting so many people, both here in the Eastern Townships, through Circuit des arts Memphrémagog, and in Toronto last weekend, at the Cabbagetown Arts & Craft 2017. Both were wonderful and now, as I finish unpacking from the Toronto show, I begin thinking about what to design and make next. This is where it really gets fun!

I'm hooked on the fabulous stones I've been able to source recently. All semi-precious, high-quality (cut, finish and color) and hugely inspiring. I'll continue to feature these in simple, unique, what I call "rustic-chic" designs and settings. I really feel these stones deserve to take centre stage, so that's what I aim for. And I love the contrast between the slightly rustic sterling settings I make for them and the colorful, rich stones. Stay tuned for lots of new work...

In the meantime, here are some examples of what I'm talking about - some of the incredible stones I get to work with. Plus, I've thrown in a photo of my setup in Cabbagetown.
