This unisex sterling silver cuff features a wonderful leaf-shaped Fordite cabochon. Fordite is cut from built-up layers of dried paint used in painting cars in factories. This one is from upcycled paint used at the Corvette plant in Bowling Green, KY. The swirling patterns of yellow, red, silver, turquoise and black are fantastic and the silver paint has a bit of metallic sheen. Truly unique! There's a little hollow on one edge that's protected with the thick sterling bezel. The sterling cuff has a random circular pattern stamped into it.
SIZE: The stone is about 1 1/2" x 3/4") and the setting's border adds a little bit more all around. The cuff is about 1/2" wide and 6 1/4" long, plus there's a 1" opening on the back.
FINISH: I oxidized the silver to bring out the detail and for a little boho feel.
