Sterling Anticlastic Bangle

This is a unique sterling silver anticlastic bangle, with lots of interesting texture and hammer marks. I formed this bangle with my hammers and left many of the hammer marks and uneven curves because I like its organic, wavy feel. It's a bit of an oval rather than perfectly round. Anticlastic means that, in addition to the bangle curving into a circle, its edges are curved up, like a saddle. This is a great statement piece to make your own! Its earthiness is perfect for everyday wear.

SIZE: The inner diameter of the bangle is about 58mm (2 1/4") and the bangle itself is about 25mm (1") wide. This would fit a smaller wrist.

FINISH: I applied a patina to the silver, then brushed much of it off. The photo on my hand shows it before I brushed off the patina.
