Sterling Silver and Glass Bead Fibula Brooch

Fibulas are such a wonderful, simple form for a brooch. They can be not so simple, too. They are essentially a clasp resembling a safety pin used especially by the ancient Greeks and Romans, often to fasten a garment. Today, you can adorn yourself with a modern version as a brooch, or use them to fasten scarves or shawls. 

This one is made of sterling silver and includes some very pretty, daffodil yellow, subtly striped glass trade beads. Add some color to your outfits this spring in a fun, unique way!
