Leland Blue Ring Size 8.25
This is a really nice, robin's egg blue Leland blue cabochon, which is a great “recycled” material from northern Michigan. It is actually glass slag, the byproduct from smelting iron ore. The slag was dumped into Lake Michigan in the late 1800s. So you also get a piece of history here!
This half-oval one has a subtle pattern of tiny gray-white specks and air bubbles. I made it into a big, boho statement ring in sterling silver. It's perfect for men or women. What a unique gift this would be!
SETTING: It's set in fine silver and sterling on a half-round sterling band.
SIZE: This stone is 25mm x 23mm (1" x 7/8") and the ring is size 8.25.
FINISH: The silver has a subtle oxidized patina for a slightly rustic finish. It also contrasts beautifully with the blue.
